| "Stitch"
Stitch is a
black tri Border Collie born July 5th, 2002. Her Father is Alamar’s
Spur and her mother is out of some working farm and ranch dogs in
TX.
In 3 years Stitch
has finished advanced titles in AKC, ASCA, AHBA, and won her class
at the Ft. Worth Stock show, 3 out of 4 runs in 2005. She has a
tremendous amount of balance and speed. She has a natural pear-shaped
outrun and will bring sheep in a very straight line. She has a great
deal of drive and never tires, no matter the conditions or circumstances.
She has a lot of grit when needed and never lets us down. She is
extremely responsive and easy to work.
Stitch will
work any type of livestock and has many first placements on sheep,
cattle, goats and ducks. She has no fear and will do whatever is
asked of her. One of the nicest traits of this young dog is she
never gets “trial jitters” and does not get rattled
no matter how the stock acts. She stays calm and just attends to
the task at hand.
Stitch has received
many 1st place and high in trial awards and we are looking for many
more to come. In 2007 and 2008 she has finished in the top 10 in
AKC competition with limited showing. She also has achieved 2 herding
championships in AHBA and AKC. Stitch is a once in a lifetime dog.
There will never be another one like her.
